First UK Bloomsbury edition, first print of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, EXEPTIONALLY signed by J.K. Rowling on the halftitle page. (almost all copies known of are signed on the dedication page!)
The book was signed by J.K. Rowling on September 14 th 2000 and donated for a fundraising event of the Antony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust, were it was won by the highest bidder Ms. Marianne Varnier from Wymondham, Norfolk. Ms. Varnier stored the book for more than twenty years in a cupboard, after which she sol dit. With the book comes a copy of a letter by Fiddy Henderson, the personal assistant of J.K. Rowling, offering two copies of the book for a fundraising event, along with an original letter dated October 2, 2000 to the previous owner who won this signed copy.
Minor bumped lower spine end, otherwise in an exeptional fine, unread condition with bright pages without the usual browning to the edges. Comes in a fine first state Dust Jacket.
