Rowling listed on the copyright page.The first print run consisted of 5,150 copies only (Errington: 187), divided into two states. By common opinion the second state is a bit less rare than the first state, although according to Errington the difference in printed copies must be minimal: 2,500 versus 2,650 copies.
The book is unread with a tight binding and clean pages, without names or inscriptions and even with only very minor browning of pages. Minor bumped upper front corner, sharp spine ends and cornertips. Comes in a near fine first edition dust jacket with hardly any wear and without fading. Housed in a custom-made half-leather Clamshell box.
