Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - Near Pristine Frst Edition, First printing
First Edition, First Printing of the UK Bloomsbury hardcover edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. According to Phillip W. Errington (J.K. Rowling: A Bibliography, 2018, p. 65), this edition was published on 2 July 1998 in a print run of only 706 copies. There are reasonable doubts about this number, as the book regularly appears in the market. Nevertheless a very limited print run. The book is in a near pristine condition (A minuscule dent at the top edge of the front cover prevents a pristine qualification) with sharp spine ends, sharp corners, tight binding, clean pages without inscriptions, signatures, or similar markings, and even with hardly the usual toning of the pages.
Come in a fine first-state unclipped dust jacket with the issue points on the front flap (i.e., 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone' not italicized; no comma after 'Tom El-Shawk, Age 11;' 'Age' capitalized). A marvelous example of this title, hard to find a better one.
