Rare edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in Swedish, titled 'Harry Potter och De Vises Sten': In 2001, the Swedish publisher Tiden released a limited edition of the first three books in the Harry Potter series. The volumes feature a black linen spine with white titles and entirely unlettered boards, allowing the phenomenal illustrations by the Swedish artist Alvaro Tapia to stand out. The edition was released with a very fragile dust jacket, which has been lost in many copies.
The beautifully illustrated cover is in fine condition with sharp spine and corner ends. Internally clean, without signatures or writing. It includes a blue ribbon marker, bright pages, and a firm binding. Although lacking a dust jacket, it comes with optimal protection provided by a removable Brodart transparent archival cover. Very suitable as an exhibition copy for Harry Potter book collectors
