The Christmas Pig – Scarce copy, signed by J.K. Rowling on a special printed leaf

First edition, first printing, signed by the author in black ballpoint on a additional printed leaf, exclusively made for a very small number signed copies.This special leaf with a black and white illustration by Jim Field of the Christmas Pig is bound before the half-title. Probably only a few dozen of this version were issued, therefore very rare.

The book was first published on Tuesday 12 October 2021 and launched at an event held at London's Alexandra Palace. At this event about 700 visitors were given the opportunity to have a book signed, one book per attendee. Copies from this event were signed on the title page with a thick felt pen. In addition to this signing, the publisher issued for promotional purposes some signed copies with this special printed leaf. This extra page, which has a slightly smaller size than the other pages, was glued in before the half title afterwards.Therefore a very rare version of a signed copy, much scarcer than the ones Rowling signed at Alexandra Palace.
